Square-looking mapping of textures on new arid climate
I just wanted to add more realistic textures of desert for arid climate, but they look square mapped as shown in the picture. I thought it was because all textures had same size, but I have tried to resize the textures to different of each other sizes and still looking badly. Any hint about the cause of this issue?

I don't understand. Can you make a screenshot from the greater zoom out?
These girds look bigger than the original ones in EE2.

I still don't understand how you expect it to be fixed?
It looks like textures have different colors on their borders, therefore placing them randomly next to each other gives the grid effect, caused by the different texture colors...
If you put the red (pink) color next to the yellow one, what effect do you expect to see?

Adding new ground textures works quite well in EE2. You just have to make sure that the transitions are as smooth as possible. And that Mona already described very well. Otherwise you get this grid effect.

As you can see I've adjusted hue/contrast so that all images have similar tuning. But still I see the grid

Problem solved!! Just I needed to make the textures less pinkish!
