Whenever I exit EE 2, there is an "AppCrash" message in the event viewer:

Your game installation is fine.

If it's only happening on quitting the game, you can safely ignore it. It's possibly some third-party program, such as Antivirus or something else that hooks DLLs to the game process causes the crash.

Just to confirm, it's only happening on game exit when you manually press the Quit button in game?

the scan yesterday was running while the game was still active in the background. strangely enough, this time, when i closed it, there was no appcrash message. and yes, the crash was always when i pressed the exit button in the game. there was also always a message in the message center. something like: ee 2 has ended, you have played ........min/hours. restart?
