player name not same as mp username

I have a problem with username on mp login, I have used one name and when i get to mp lobby is has my chat name as another? im wondering if it was before i installed the mona patch, there isn't any way to change it in the settings and I thought the name was from lan settings but now its n/a and looking through the game files i havent stumbled across it.

Generally, the login is not always the unique nickname, which is visible after logging in.
If you attempt to create an account with a name that already exists in the database, it will ask you to update it. This way you are logging with the login which you typed as first, but the nickname is unique, the one you choose.
