I am not an impartial observer since I am Mona's friend, but I think, if the sanctions imposed on Russian players using EE2.eu platform are appropiate and allow Putin's opposers or those which other way are against the war put through by Russia get rid of the sanctions and use those services, that these measures are proportionate and not only lawful but legitimate and rational. Any discussion on what Ukranians or Russians did in the past or whether all Ukranian are nazists or whether Putin wants in fact to rebuild Soviet Empire or not, criticism over past or present military or economic actions of the NATO are side-questions and must not thwart a genuine discussion about political questions about the war, inside rules of mutual respect and democracy (and Russia is a democracy). Summing up the issue, I support Mona's setting those proportionate questions and claim the right of every individual to show his opinion, for democracy is founded on healthy political discussion, freedom of opinion and speech, a free press and a condemnation of totalitarian or fascist actions. I hope no Russian anti-war player or supporter will be banned.
