I start believing in miracles now

I played a multi player game recently. The game started normally, as usual. Then one of players goes to build second city center. This city center would be logically located next to the initial base, or a bit further. But no -- the player places city center, then deleted it and then this player goes directly to the berry bush located in my territory. This player goes to that particular spot without exploring map by any means, without any hesitation, and builds city center next to that berry bush -- simple and deliberately! There were no scouts for exploring. Furthermore, while building foundation of the new city the player does not see that berry bush because of the non-revealed map setting, however the location is impeccable. If it is just coincidence, then it is by miracle simply unreal...

I have attached sequential screen shots and attached the game itself for anyone to see. Now is the question -- is it coincidence or the player knew about this berry bush? It seems incredible for coincidence. It could be shear luck but lately I have noticed some players have god-like powers in predicting strategic location and moving military units. Perhaps I am paranoid.

Could anyone look into this phenomena, please? Any help is appreciated.

Oh, again? You can see resources with TAB. When you Place cc it will move it where you can build it, and not on resources. Keep calm

Are you serious? Even in the playback you can see that the map is EXPLORERD, not unrevealed.

He built the city center right next to you, in order to use the conversion regional power, and then even managed to deff spam:

If you're talking about the food bush position, then it's not any secret. You can always see their positions in TAB (Citizens manager) on explored maps.

His intention however wasn't even to build that city center next to the food bush. His intention was to convert your units and build outposts to kill you faster.

I would be ashamed to share my defeats if I lost in such a funny way. He outplayed you pretty hard. I bet many people reading this topic have a good laugh now.

As a player in that game I can confirm the map setting was "explored". I also remember saying "yes_rules" in chat once the game started and Coo1 still produced a ram in a desperate attempt to destroy Prof. N_O_O_B's outposts next to that City Center. Spamming defensive structures like outposts are perfectly legal in rules game. Using rams are not. Getting outplayed is no excuse to break rules. Just putting that out there.
