Just for information, the original Empire Earth (EEC) and its Expansion (AOC) are alive and kicking pretty well. There are many players playing to EE2 and AOC. Not to insult, but it may open other venues for players who cannot find a decent EE2 game. The original EE even has a LIVE YOUTUBE STREAM channel:
It is interesting to watch, like in movies. Here a screenshot of that server, please note, it changes with each and new game. User "drex 888" was kind enough to set up live channel.

Doesn't change the fact that EE1 aged pretty bad.

Maybe avoiding calling players: smurfs, cheaters, creating conspiracy theories regarding non-existing bugs, etc. can help more to find decent EE2 games on Multiplayer. Not to insult, but it may open other venues for players who cannot find a decent EE2 game.

It also helps not booting players from your hosting room after they ask you if you are scared of playing their settings after you've backed out of their game because you didn't like their settings.
Re: Empire Earth and Expansion is Alive !
Empire Earth 1 was a good game but the cheating AI is terrible. I will say I do like the no territory aspect of the game, just that darn AI. Has anyone tried to edit the AI? I know the games files is hardcoded so maybe reverse engineering?Coo1 wrote: ↑05 Jan 2021, 01:52 Just for information, the original Empire Earth (EEC) and its Expansion (AOC) are alive and kicking pretty well.
