Hello guys
First of all SURPRISE, the Unofficial Patch 1.5 will be released in the future
I'd like to inform you about incoming changes, and ask you what else would you like to change in game?
Changes / Details:
- Changes from Unofficial Patch 1.4 Update 2.0 for EE2: AOS will be available for classic version of Empire Earth II. // Not ready yet
*Improved version of the "Planes height mod"
- All changes from Unofficial Patch 1.4.
- The new installer will contain the Official Patch 1.2 files (no more problems with installing two patches). // Not ready yet
- New version of Windows 8 / 8.1 FIX (this time created in C++) // Not ready yet
- Removed GameSpy availability server emulator (useless)
- New launchers with auto-update feature (will inform you about UP1.5 updates)
- Only 1 sample song for EE2Amp (to reduce the size of the installer)
Changes in EE2 and EE2X:
- Enabled rotation of windmills in workshops:
*The wheel rotates faster when the building is producting units.
*The wheel rotates slower when not producting units.
*You could see this feature working on EE2 trailer videos, unfortunately developers decided to remove it in the final EE2 release).
- Fixed "non chimney smoke" graphics bug (usually in EE2 new buildings have got no smoke from chimneys until you epoch up or apply graphics settings).
* The first "smoke" will appear when you start producting the first unit from selected building. Thanks to that you will know which buildings are idle, and which buildings are already producting units. It's a great improvment, especally for multiplayer games where you have to build a lot.
- Two alert-sirens and a new building: Radar.
* The first siren (warns you about air attacks). How will it work? All city-centers will have the ability to attack enemy's air-units (with damage: 0 and a long re-load time). The new attack sound will be the alert siren (heard from any place on the map)
* The second siren (activates when an enemy launches ICBM from the missile silo). To hear this siren you will have to build the new building - Radar. It will be the same story as with the first alert-siren : - )
* The new alert-siren system has been developed by Vladimir I. (EE2 modder)
What I'll try to do (but probably fail):
- EE2.exe and EE2X.exe file for: 4:3 monitors, 16:9 monitors, 16:10 monitors (to support more screen resolutions)
* It will be possible if I somehow disable checksum checking system. But probably I will fail (I tried to do it before).

A one idea could be bring back some sounds from EE I ... like churchs, cannons for ships and artillery ... ammm change the original music which is too boring .... remove horses for mesoamerican civs until imperial age .... change terrain textures more dark like first screens of EE II,

For now I'm working on C++ version of Windows 8 / 8.1 Fix. After that I'll script the launcher files.
Changing the music isn't a good idea. In Unofficial Patch 1.4 you can already use your own music (Click CTRL+ALT+SHIFT+F12 in game).ammm change the original music which is too boring ....

Well ok!!! the terrain it's ok for the moment ... but In my point of view the sounds FX could be changed, cannons, ammm fire arms ... are horrible in comparison with EEI.

if i will tell 1 villager to build 10 barrackses he will build 1 barracks and he will stay idle .so see if some thing will happen like this that 1 villager after building 1 barracks he will not sit idle and he will start building the other remaining barrackses without telling him to build .so he will go on building once the work given to him and will not sit idle . i hope u will fulfill my needs . . plz plz do this change so that it will be better

@Gauresh... It already exists in Empire Earth II. Just select a citizen, press B (for baracks) then push the SHIFT button and then click the left mouse button several times (to build many baracks). After that the citizen will build the next barack after he finish the previous one.
