I think he didn't want to use outposts to attack players. He just used it to checking weather ^^

Deus, he made outpots behind him. If the enemy had attacked him, he would have lost all citzens and eco. Defs are usefull to protect your economy, your citzens, if you let to the enemy to kill your citzens, you don't need defs....

What if his enemy went to the side of his base by the trees? The def comes in handy anyway since it's 7 or so epoch so the towers have good range.

Haha, I remember this map. I was playing 5-5 on it. I had like 8-9 terrs, and I lost because I had no place for building. And there was a loot of forest :/
