Well I have been playing EE2X for some time (irony, 2 days) and i rule... no stink at starting strategies, although I think way out (aspergers) i am not sure how to start games off... any suggestions?

What do you want to learn specifically?

basically the secret consists in making troops as fast as possible... but for that you need to gather resources, a large number of resources. If you're managed to do that, you'll probably win.

(Just note, that in EE2X farms works little slower than in normal version of EE2, so I recommend to get food from food-trees instead of farms at start).

i just wish to learn what resources to get in what epoch first?
(of course food)

For fast-pace game, If you play with 10 citizens at start, I recommend: 4 stone, 1 food, 5 wood.
