Perhaps this helps to add a new screen resolution. However, I think it only works when you change exe file.
EDIT:
Okay, I tried everything but I'm not able to add new resolution into EE2.exe file. When I add any new hex number in file, then it change EE2.exe icon like to "bronen" file, and I can't start game. I'm not enough advenced in hex to see what's problem, but probably even if I find how to add it into file, it won't show this resolution in game...It's too much work :/ Another possible way is creating patch in 2 versions - for widescreen monitors and 4:3, but I don't think it be possible to play together between 4:3 and 16:9 players... Anyway it can be possible if we create same MD5 checksum for both files, and I don't think it's possible :/
EDIT:
Okay, I added resolutions to file, as I said before.
Resolutions in game are named correct. I added resolution names to file: dbtext_cheats.utf8 - so it didn't change almost anything in game language. that's why we won't need different versions of installator for every language. Also EE2-Patch1.4 bot will show special message:
Now we have to work "how to add new colors to the game". I hope RVG1 can help us a little...
