despite losing our sole naval port, we prevailed with the Thunder Gun Continental Spam. Also Leviathans are stunningly powerful against age of sail wooden ships.

The American Betrayal: empireearth2://decode-downloader-ee2-pl ... ew&id=2548

I have never seen a top dog AI player, fully allied to you from the beginning of the game, betrayed me THROUGH WAR till now that is. George Washington had a huge age of sail navy, but I had nuclear bombers and massed bomblet mortars paradrops. Another fun continents game as the Inkans. In hindsight, relying on the paradrops was a better -if costly - choice than going for usual Thunder Gun + Transport Ship spam due to the American betrayal and his navy.



WARNING - I just rewatched the vid and it gave me a different result! Not only that, but it hangs at the very end. BE WARNED that this is not the original sequence of events that happened in the game...

Are you familiar with Doomquake Slaughter Maps? That's what I'm going for in this thread.
That said, there's an idea I'm itching to try very soon... if all goes well, I'll post it up here for viewing pleasure.

Added after 1 hour 7 minutes 35 seconds:
I present to you... Greek Plains Slaughter

Built only infantry units + nuclear bombers for air support. Should have crushed the Romans at the end as well, but oh well. Interesting to note that you can get by with just starting mechanized units... provided you built lotsa inf + air support.

seems RNG has been giving the Greeks each time I play the plains map recently, so there:

this one was ally with the Americans, and spam Giant Death Robots and gift them to my Yankee ally. Worked nicely.

today i played aztecs on plains map and did an orbital bomber spam strat with hercs and ofws it was wonderful seeing massed bomber raids on turkish soil

Turkish Tank Rush on the Plains: empireearth2://decode-downloader-ee2-pl ... ew&id=2570

this one was a test to see how well the Greek AI would perform when you gift them advanced tank units. Turns out those advanced tank units (Epoch 15) get downgraded to Interwar Tankettes and Nashorns (Epoch 11) when you gift them to someone 5-10 epochs lower than you...

Still, with Turkish air support, the Greeks were able to batter the Romans into submission, though the latter chose to surrender to me unfortunately.

I decided it was time to have a change to a water map, hence Med where I can enjoy both land and sea units in action. In this game Japan was my ally, unfortunately Sole Survivor Mode was on... they tried their best to defend themselves, with a surprise at the very end of this playback.
