I'm not exactly sure what you mean, but can you try different custom configuration commands from this update?

— "Automatic Font Size for Screen Resolutions" improvements:
* By default, disabled the fix for Chinese language, added in update 157009. It's because of crashes reported by Chinese players.
* The different fonts can still be restored, by the custom configuration command: "AutomaticFontSizeForceRegionMode=0" in UP1.5 Settings (0 = Automatic detection, 1 = English file, 2 = Chinese file).

You can also try to uncheck "Automatic Font Size" feature (option at the bottom of UP1.6 Settings).

Please let me know which solution helps. Please also remember to press button "Clear Cache" after you insert the custom configuration commands.

Unfortunately, I don't see what is the problem as I don't really know how the Chinese characters should look like.

Is this screenshot with enabled or disabled "Atomatic Font Size" option?

And which is your "AutomaticFontSizeForceRegionMode" region now? There's absolutely no difference when using this command (and clearing the cache)? This option only works when Automatic Font Size is enabled, but maybe it can help because it's switching the font file.

For Chinese region, EE2 uses the "AR Mingti2 Light B5" font. Maybe you need to download it separately and install on your system to get it working.
