new Laptop no text in any display

I have just upgraded my laptop and now when In start the game I get no text at all I have tried lots of settings but cannot find the one to get the text working

I know this will have been seen before and I have searched but cannot find anyhting

It's the same issue as in this topic: viewtopic.php?t=5638

I recently warned about this issue, in this tweet:



There's nothing more I can do to help. If you would like to help, maybe you could post that you have the same issue in this thread: https://github.com/microsoft/D3D9On12/issues/57
Then maybe Microsoft would finally focus on it.

Thank you so much for this answer I will have to wait to be able to play again and will give you a helping hand by making a donation for all the work you have put in so far.

Please update when the problem is fixed

As I mentioned in my previous post, I am unable to fix it myself as it's Intel drivers and Microsoft's D3D9on12 issue. If EE2 is your favourite game, it would be better to refund the laptop and get something with AMD processor / graphics.

If you want to help get this problem fixed, you should post that you have the same issue on that GitHub link that I sent (and attach your screenshot). From my experience, Microsoft focuses on problems if they get more feedback and know that many people are affected. If nobody, except me reports these issues, then they simply ignore it thinking no many people are playing it.
