:D I mean that the laser will gradually disappear after it is fired in EE2,but it is continuous display in EE2:AOS ,the opacity has not changed by the end

Hi. Please paste those files to "zips\graphics_150":
fx_beam_herc2_aosfix.nifcache

Then edit "zips_ee2x\EE2X_db.zip\EE2X_db\Visuals\visual_fx_weapon.dd" to replace .nif names with the new ones (I hope you will know what I mean, otherwise I can post more detailed guide).

Then please use Nifskope: viewtopic.php?f=54&t=5097
And open "fx_beam_herc2_aosfix.nifcache"

You can download and test on this game save which should be pasted to "Documents\Empire Earth II The Art of Supremacy\savegame_SP":

Seems to have some effect. I managed to make the laser black.
You can click CTRL+S to save changes, and then restart game, and test by loading the game save.

There are many other options, some Alpha, Lighting settings, etc. If you can, please play with those values and see if tweaking any of them helps a little bit.

I tried earlier today, but so far got interrupted by different things, and I'm currently not motivated to test it more today. If you can find some tweaks, that would be great, otherwise I'll be trying in the next days.

I tried to change the color,it could be some color,but not like EE2..Maybe I didn't do it right?

It won't really work by just those colors, you can try to change other options, switches, etc. In different nodes of this nifskope. It's like experimenting until seeing some progress. Maybe some lighting can be disabled, maybe changing something totally random would have an effect... Who knows :)

At the moment I know as much about it as you :( So testing, experimenting is the only way to know, and that's how I always achieve stuff on EE2.

I think if turn off the EE2:AOS lighting system, it should look like EE2.But it's too difficult..

The lighting system in AOS can not be turned off, only changed to "Low" quality. From what I remember it's all in the gamebyro engine version that AOS was using.
