peace, roman are only good for fast building early on. After 8 minutes, most other civilizations are better.

I remember when I played for some months only with Greece.
I played good, but then I had to back on Roman, because I couldn't build fast with Greece.
Bigger army = better than stronger army. But sometimes I use Greece in 3v3 games. It's much better than Roman

Mayan are the best in epochs 1-10 on med pace setts.

Hornet throwers own in med pace because of their hp but in 1-5 mayans aren't that good

roman or greek in 2v2(probably occasion will tell you what you have to take) and turk in 3v3 due to its heavy artillery.. thats the best choice in my opinion.
