Hi all,
Creating a new map - wondering whether there was any real gameplay difference between using cliffs vs elevation with mountain texture for elevated choke points?
Look forward to figuring out the differences if any

Re: Cliffs vs Mountain texture - differences?
Hi.
From what I remember it's impossible for units to move on cliffs. So it's like a natural barrier that won't allow units to pass. When you simply raise the elevation they might still be able to pass it. However, as you noticed, when the ground has a mountain texture it has the same effect (blocks units from access). I am not 100% sure if there is not any gameplay difference, but shouldn't be. Simply blocked path for both of methods.
