Nice. Icons are one of "easier" things though. The real problem starts when you want to add something new and have to define new entries in multiple files.

Yea I know icons are most easy to do. Next time I will experiment on adding new unit from... maybe some Civilization IV models :) and modify and add some new sounds. Thx to appreciate my work ;)

You are correct about the regional tags:

Something that has always bothered me is on the official 1.2 patch, the original game developers did add custom textures and models for the Turkish WW1/WW2 infantry units. The used _turkish as the tag but i have never been able to figure out how that worked.

Also, see this thread viewtopic.php?f=54&t=5189&p=25744#p25744
for more details on how the regional texture/modeling works. i was able to create a unique early barracks for the Africans, Middle Market for the Far Eastern, and Late Factory for the Africans. If i could ever figure out how to get Civ4 .nif files to work in EE2, i would have a few more unit buildings from that mod community

Great work with buildings brownsfan_95, btw I want to create in the future unique buildings and units for every CIVILIZATION not only for that 5 regions ;) I know its a very huge challenge but I think that with help other people it can be done. Right now I am translating on polish language some modding pdf tutorial and Im done about 45%. See ya later ;)

If i could ever figure out how to get Civ4 .nif files to work in EE2, i would have a few more unit buildings from that mod community
As far as I know EE4 mod, and Realistic Mod use many textures from Civ 4.
Maybe easier to look them up in already existing EE2 mods, than do the same thing?

Yes!!! :) exactly Mona I have downloaded newest versions of these mods and plan to implement from them some units and buildings too but I also plan from some maybe Civ IV mods if it is possible of course :) Btw soon I will finish my translation of Osnovy_Moddinga_Empire_Earth_2.pdf in polish and you can check it when I finish.

Yes, you are correct Mona; other people have done so. But it never seems to work for me...
You did point out that tutorial RGV1 had on the EE Heaven, but i can't figure it out.
I have this nice 8-10 Mesoamerican Warehouse model if anyone else knows how to get it to work in EE2
