I have an idea for creating an custom campaign about The Netherlands. The only problem is that I need a detailed map of The Netherlands to be able to create this campaign. The map needs to be created in Art of the Supremacy, because i want the create the campaign for the DLC.

Here is the area i want to use for the campaign: As u can see i also need Belgium, a bit of England and a bit of Germany so i can make missions about ww2 for example.

I would be very thankfull if someone can help me with this and you will of course be credited when the campaign releases.

Basically EE2 supports DEM importing, but currently it's impossible to download those files from any known (for me) source.
It should be possible with some procedure (maybe Google Earth export + some converter). I have no idea about it. It would be nice if somebody could do some research.

Somebody (probably Gonzalo) sent me Europe DEM before: All files from the zip should be unpacked to: Documents\Empire Earth II The Art of Supremacy\import
Then loaded by the map editor -> Import DEM (I think that's how it's called).

Unfortunately that's all I have.

If somebody figured out where to download/convert/whatever DEM files for EE2, it should be pretty easy to create maps.

Hi, the creator from this gog Program has written to me, that here has discovered a program, called grassGIS, that can any height map export to the 16 bit "dem file format", used from Empires - dawn of the mordern World. I think, that Program work also for the dem format from EE2. It can export 3d Maps to the .bin files, with that ee2 work. But it seems very complicated for me, to use this program.

Sooner or later, lonzo will make a tutorial, but right now he got to study unfortunately.

From here we can still download some data. It's strange, though, because I saw this link didn't work earlier.

Now you can export DEM files easily, but not in .bin format. The allowed formats are xyz, asc, tiff and two or three other I don't know if these file formats can be converted to .bin with the program do you talk of. Still further HOPES!!!

So any good news about DEM importing??
