Hey there,

A lil bump on the topic. I had to reinstall the game because something went wrong during last patch (haven't patched game since last time we had chat  Image )

Now I have same issue as before, I did notice you changed path and name of dbwidget that's responsible for game peace. But once I change values I'm interested in and place em back into zip file, values don't change ingame. Did I miss something or?

Paths EE2 - ..\zips\db.zip -> db.zip\db\UI\dbwidget_fe.csv
Paths EE2aos - ..\zips_ee2x\EE2X_db.zip -> EE2X_db.zip\EE2X_db\UI\dbwidget_fe.csv

Hi.
I think this feature was added to Unofficial Patch 1.5.5:
https://www.ee2.eu/patch#1.5.5
- Changed the minimum and maximum custom game pace values (from min. 0.25 max. 3.0 to min. 0.1 max. 20.0);
So you probably don't need to change anything Image

UP1.5 has a different files structure, and this file is now named: dbwidget_f5.csv, and it's in db_155.zip archive.

Ye I need bit more than 20 Image tho I'll need to balance some HP issues "sometime".

Your changes of 0.1 to 20.0 are not with latest 1.5.5 patch, at least i didn't have those values in(had def ones).

EDIT: File path is valid as you mentioned and working for both ee2 and ee2aos.

I need to check it, I'm pretty sure it should be included in 1.5.5, but I checked now and it.. isn't... I need to check it with TheGrouchDE, seems like some very strange mistake.

Well, no worries, we can always delete part of the post, nobody noticed it anyway that number doesn't go up more than 3 Image

haha, seems like I failed with the minor update 155001, and used the old file :/

Hey Danijel, one question: Why do you need max. value more than 20? What things you set on more than 20? We made limit 20 max. for security reasons (to prevent abuses on Multiplayer), but maybe it would be fine to add a little more.

fHitPointMod = 25.0 - 30.0
fEpochUpCostMod = 20.0 - 60.0
fStaticDefense = 60.0 - 100.0

In case with hp will need to find and modify hp of things like fortress, outpost, warehouse...idk if i missed something. I like when walls and catapults have sense and you need 100 swordsman's too actually see them destroying a building.

Ye,..no need for more, unless its balanced with additional mod. Values ingame with 20 can go highwire and those distorts strategy of AI. Like warehouse that gain enorm HP value, most ai's build em behind every bush and all of em will 1st attack warehouse. Reducing it to 10 is still ok to make "longer" game regarding epochs. Other values are useless without further balancing.
