Scenarios or maps created by the Map Editor, where you can place the starting positions.

Fixed starting positions are only available in custom maps, not maps randomly generated.

If you're playing a Skirmish game, on the game setup screen, there's a "Team Placement" option in the "Game" tab. Unchecking it might follow the fixed starting positions based on slots.

I still don't understand how you expect it to be fixed? It looks like textures have different colors on their borders, therefore placing them randomly next to each other gives the grid effect, caused by the different texture colors... If you put the red (pink) color next to the yellow one, what effe...

I don't understand. Can you make a screenshot from the greater zoom out?

These girds look bigger than the original ones in EE2.

The playback recording only starts on start of the game. It does not activate after loading a game save, but saving the game should not interrupt it. It's because playback files are constructed to simulate the whole game step-by-step, and starting recording with units / buildings already present cou...

Nothing crashes the game. It's clearly mentioned that the ambient pack is developed for Unofficial Patch 1.5 Normal version. Everything has been tested and is used by thusdans of players for over 2 years now.
